Summer Trips

OK - So it has been a while since I last updated, but we have been super busy! Jaxon is now three months old and it is going by so fast! We have been on a couple of trips since the last time I updated. We went to Maryland to stay on the farm and he got to meet his great-grandparents and all of his cousins. He also got to see his Aunt Emily again and meet his Uncle Johnathan. We had a great time! It was also his very first plane ride and he did AWESOME. I gave him a bottle as we took off and descended and he was happy as could be. That also reminds me that he is now beginning to try to hold his own bottle. He has held it independently a few times. He is getting stronger and stronger everyday.

Once we got back from Maryland, we went to Florida for a week. It was a lot of fun and Jaxon got to put his toes in the ocean for the very first time!! The weather was beautiful. We took Jaxon for a walk onthe beach, but he slept through most of it. I think that the sounds of the waves reminded him of his noise machine back home! Anyway, we had a good trip, except for the little accident we were in on the way down there! Yes, not only has Jaxon already taken a plane ride, but he was also in a car wreck. Thankfully everything was OK - we were rear-ended and sustained some bumper damage, but everyone was OK. What a way to kick off a vacation!! The rest of the week was great though and the waves were unbelievable!! The boogie board was super fun, but Jaxon had to sit those rides out!!

We don't have anymore trips for a while. We are going to enjoy being at home and try to get on some sort of schedule. Check out all of his latest pictures in the new slide show! I will try to do better about updating now that we are going to be home for a while!!
