Hockey, Basketball, and a Bruiser!!

We finished up the winter with a bang and a bruise (literally)! Jaxon LOVES sports of all kinds and he especially enjoyed going to watch the Predators. He loved it so much, that for a while, whenever we would get in the car to go somewhere, he would say, "Go watch hockey?" He did have a blast!!

He also LOVED basketball season (and who didn't?.... especially if you are a KY fan)!! Everytime he saw a UK symbol, he would say "Kentucky Basketball" and when watching the game, he cheered "GO CATS!" It was really cute because when we would say, "C-A-T-S, Cats, Cats, Cats," Jaxon would say "A-B-C-D, Cats, Cats, Cats!" It was so funny!

Jonathan and I even got to go to the SEC tournament and see the Cats win it. We had a great time. Grandma came in town and kept Jaxon and we stayed downtown with what seemed like the entire stated of Kentucky. Lots of blue and so much fun!!

Well, like I said, Jaxon loves sports and is ALL boy! He loves to run, jump, kick, shoot, pass, and, then, of course, he usually falls down....or runs into something! This happens quite often, so we have certainly had our share of cuts, bumps and bruises along the way! Below you will see a picture of his first shiner that he got at daycare when he fell into the side of the table (he and a little girl were chasing each other around the table). He would say "hurt eye" and "shiner". I hope we don't get too many more of these! It looked pitiful! Where is the helmet when we need it!!!

This is an ultrasound picture taken in December. You can see it is a headshot. He is holding his hands up by his face and is even grinning for the camera!

Dudley wore this T-shirt to reveal the exciting news that he was going to have a new sibling. His shirt said "Have you heard the big news? I'm going to be a big brother!!"
