Today, I took him to Barnes and Noble for story time, even though he was more interested in the toy train track than the story. Oh well..... It was really cute though. A bunch of children and their mommies were gathered around the train track before story time playing. Jaxon picked up a train cart and went around the table and gave the others a turn with the train (even though they had their own). It was really funny- he made sure not to leave anyone out, but after he gave somebody a turn, he then made sure that he gave himself a turn. Although his turns were a bit longer than his playmates, I was glad to see that he was making an effort to share and take-turns.
Speaking of sharing and taking turns....... Jaxon shared a little too much with us recently. He picked up a stomach virus from somewhere (probably daycare) and then shared it with me and Jonathan! It was horrible - I mean AWFUL! First was Jaxon's turn. It hit him one night about 5:00 and then it didn't stop until the next day. Then, it was Jonathan's turn. It hit him the very next night and he didn't stop until the next day. And then, you guessed it - it was my turn. I knew it was only a matter of time. Unfortunately, this virus knocked us off our feet. It was horrible and really wiped us all out. We are finally getting back to normal! Thank goodness for snow days and this three day weekend! We definately needed the rest!
Today, Jonathan got to come home from work a little early and we took Jaxon to feed the ducks, since it was such a pretty day. He LOVES to feed the ducks. He'll say "Here duckie, duckie." After feeding the ducks, we played on the playground for a bit. Here are some pictures from today-
