August was a super crazy month! First of all, I started my new job. I still work for Sumner County Schools, but I took a new position. I now cover all of the private and homeschooled children in the county along with doing preschool evaluations. It is definately different and I continue to learn something new everyday. My favorite part is that I now work with all ages (2 years- 18 years old). I love the contrast and there is NEVER a dull moment-it definately keeps me on my toes.
Another big thing that happend in August is that we decided to put our house up for sale. It was a little sudden, but Jonathan and I found a great house that we really wanted, so we decided to take a chance. Trust me - having your house on the market and having a one year old is not ideal, but we wanted to see what would happen. The house that we found was actually listed as a 'short sale', so buying it would not be easy as everything was a matter of precise timing. In order to go for the short sale, we actually had to place an offer on it before our house sold - very risky, but would definately be worth it if it worked out. After we made the decision to place an offer and put our house on the market, it was simply a waiting game. Waiting for the right offer on our house, and waiting for the bank to accept our offer on the other house.

Dudley wore this T-shirt to reveal the exciting news that he was going to have a new sibling. His shirt said "Have you heard the big news? I'm going to be a big brother!!"
